Mitzvah School Prizegiving 2010
Mitzvah School Prizegiving 2010
On Sunday we celebrated prizegiving at Mitzvah School.
Prizegiving is a recognition of the hard work and dedication of learners and education. It is also a celebration of the family that we have become over the course of the year.
The theme of this year was Success. This theme is reflected in the year that has past, and in the potential of the students for the future.
We will post photographs of the event on the Mitvah School website in due course.
We will also post speeches from participants of the event.
Congratulations to the whole Mitzvah School body on the succesful year of 2010.
Best of luck (and hard work) for our students for the final Matric Examinations. We look forward to celebrating your name in the newspaper at the end of the year.

Mandela Day at Mitzvah School
Mandela Day at Mitzvah School was a great success.
Photographs of the day will be uploaded to the Mitzvah School gallery soon! Check back for updates.
Students from Mitzvah School partnered with students from King David Linksfield to work together to paint and clean classrooms and pack away books in the Library. Books were donated to charities in Diepsloot.
The Jewish Youth Movement Netzer, Members of Bet David Synagogue, Jolly Dee's Nursery School teachers and parents and orphans from Alexandra spent the day together with Mitzvah School and King David Linksfield learners.
Braaing, laughing, face painting, yoga, dancing and inter-cultural exchanges were the order of the day.
Happy birthday Madiba. We celebrated your birthday by giving of our time and learning from each other.
To donate to any of the worthy charitable organisations mentioned in this blog email info@mitzvahschool.org.za or simply visit the Mitzvah School website now. Remember that it is never too late to give of your time or make a donation. Make every day a Madiba day and reap the rewards of giving.
